Is CSA Right For Me?
Reasons To Join Our CSA This Season

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is one of the best ways to support our small farm and eat healthy. With your early in the season purchase of a CSA Market Card, you help us kick start our season with the financial assistance needed to grow our vegetables including ordering seeds, planting out the field, buying in compost, and covering the various other expenses endured before we are able to sell our product to you. Below is just some of the many benefits of joining our CSA and eating local with Crown & Roots Farm!

EATING SEASONALLY IS GOOD FOR YOU

Eating seasonally from a local vegetable farm is a great way to ensure you are getting a wide variety of vitamins and minerals in your diet. Our CSA share provides you diverse in-season vegetables of nutrient-dense quality to boost your immune system and overall health. You will truly notice the difference of “eating with the seasons”. Eat good, feel good, do good!

EXPAND YOUR VEGGIE REPERTOIRE

Picture yourself shopping at the grocery store. You are browsing the produce aisle for awhile but still end up with all the same vegetables in your shopping cart that you have been buying for months now. In result, your lunch and dinner ideas have become boring and repetitive and all you want to do by mid-week is order take out. Your local farmer is here to solve this problem! Purchasing a CSA farm share gives you the chance to test your boundaries and to try different types of in-season vegetables growing in your area while keeping things interesting (and healthy!) in your home kitchen.
