Our Growing Practices
At our small farm, we believe in transparency when it comes to our growing practices. While we haven’t pursued a formal organic certification, we wholeheartedly embrace organic and sustainable methods - meaning we do not use any pesticides or herbicides whatsoever. We use exclusively non-GMO seeds.
At our farm, we prioritize soil health and biodiversity. We rotate crops to maintain soil fertility, prevent pests, and reduce disease pressure. Organic matter from crop residues, kitchen scraps, and other sources is composted to enrich the soil. We seed cover crops in the field whenever possible to protect soil, fix nitrogen, and enhance soil structure during fallow periods.
